The Parish of Batheaston with St Catherine has joined with Bathford Parish in a United Benefice. Rev Lauretta Wilson is Vicar of the Benfice
Our local churches provide a place of welcome for all local residents and visitors alike. On our web pages, you can find out more about our village churches, service times, special events and what we, as a community of Christians are doing in the area. As a close-knit community, we offer people of all ages a place of tranquility, inspiration and connection. Why not get involved and come and see us soon?
We believe they are today's generation and we want them to feel a part of our church and enable them on their spiritual journey as much as for the adults.
Our local churches run lots of fun, educational and social activities for children which include creative play, drama, singing, games, craft and bible based lessons along side refreshments.
Children are very welcome to come along to Sunday Services at St John's where books, crayons and games are on hand for young families to enjoy and take the opportunity to meet up and stay informed about community activities.
We invite parents and children of all ages to come along to help reflect the shape of our local parish, young and old and to offer mutual support.
We are currently seeking to appoint a Chilren's and Families' Worker for the Benefice.
We ask that all children are
accompanied by a
parent/guardian/carer.
Older children are always welcome and can perhaps even lend a hand to help.
We look forward to welcoming you.
